I absolutely don’t support Biden, and I will be doing my level best to ensure he isn’t the nominee, but I would sure as shit rather have him than Trump. I wouldn’t fear that Biden’s going to kick off a war because he feels like no one takes him seriously. I wouldn’t worry about Biden stripping my rights away simply because I say I think he’s doing a shit job. I wouldn’t cringe every single time I see a news clip, wondering what new national embarrassment is about to unleash itself. With Biden, we aren’t going to get the push for the things we know we need, like Medicare For All, but we also won’t get all the shit we know we do NOT need, like an authoritarian president who sucks up to dictators while he actively harms Americans with his policies.

Biden may hurt me through neglect. Trump seeks to hurt me through action. If I absolutely must choose between the two alternatives, I’ll take the first every time. And if you don’t vote, then you’re helping achieve the second, and believe me, all of us who are hurt through Trump’s actions? We will remember this. We will remember you. And we will never let you forget it.

Decisions are made by those who show up. Don’t listen to this shit - put your big kid pants on and deal. VOTE. VOTE BLUE, then put the pressure on your reps and senators to make the change we all want and need.

I mean, yeah, don’t use “walk” or “said” in every single sentence so that your writing gets repetitive, but good writing is knowing what to use and when to use it.  There are some instances where your writing could be made better with a more descriptive word, like “waddle” or “whispered”–just as there are some instances where using simpler terms better fits what you’re trying to communicate.

At the end of the day, everything in moderation and just remember that there’s nothing inherently wrong with the words “walk” or “said”.
